Attaboy!!! Nicely detached.

I do think your wife needs to let you know where your daughter is going to be, though.

I made steaks tonite too; thought about shrimp, but it was already late and I was too lazy to peel 'em. Some nice NY strips for me and the boys, and a filet for the wife. Mmmmmm!!!! Baked red potatoes, a fresh tossed salad, and now a fine Rocky Patel cigar and a glass of shiraz!!

Thanks, PDT.
Feeling pretty good but I know that can be fleeting.
It's fantastic actually. Not only did I do a fantastic job of spicing my steak (W recently was doing mine better than I could) but after dinner I turn on the TV to see Zappa Plays Zappa on PBS Detroit. Tonight is all about me.

But I will request that, in the future, if Calla is sleeping somewhere other than home, the "other parent" needs to know ASAP. (Like I ever keep D overnight. I am ALWAYS home at nights except for the occasional work trip)

As a bachelor, I never could bother with salad's or potatoes. I was a one or two course guy. Too many things on the go. Must have come from university where a box of Rice-A_Roni was dinner.

Give me main course and an appetizer. No fluff.

Regarding the wine, it was in the fridge. I have never really paid much attention to wine. The Bin 555 (Australian Shiraz) was really good. I enjoyed. I apparently got so carried away I 180'd myself.

Thanks for keepin' tabs on me.

Ahhh, that's Penfold's. I'm drinking the same thing, only their cheaper Koonunga Hill line. Good stuff!

And I'm with you on the courses. I said I MADE a salad. I never said I HAD any, lol. Just about a 13-oz. NY strip and two baked potatoes, sauteed onions and mushrooms, and wine! LOL

Try to piece it together by really reflecting on what she has told you. What are her consistent complaints? What about you has she criticized? What have y'all fought about? What do her 'new ways' indicate she is looking for now?

Greek-
Not to sound stupid but I'd like to know what you are after with this series of questions? I have a pretty good understanding of where I failed her needs in the M, but I want to ask why you are asking? Surely it's not to begin exhibiting those behaviors NOW?
I'd just like to understand the reason behind the questions and, once I have the answers, what and when do I do about it?

Thanks in advance.

I'm staring to figure this out. You and the other "Enchanters" on the board figure out where "WE" are in the process by the things we talk about and the questions we ask. If we're asking the right questions, it's telling YOU "where we are " in the process and how comfortable we are "inour new skin".

I'm learning.

Hey, how do you guys get those enclosed quotes? I hit quick quote and edited the contents but mine looks like garbage?
Where's the cool "box"?

I look like a hack. Little help?

Bin 555 is Wyndham Estate. My brother is a bit of a 'booze geek' so he recommended it for our wedding. It went over well so it's my "can't lose" housewarming; birthday; dinner gift.

And now I like it too.

Type [ quote = whoever you quote ] at the beginning (without the spaces) and [ / quote ] at the end (without the spaces) If you hit quick quote and it isn't showing up, the only thing I might suggest is make sure you aren't accidentally deleting the brackets... dunno otherwise. wink

Also just went up and looked at a past post - you used the end quote as the beginning of the quote too... have to use the other for the header for it to work.
