Thank god I made it through the day.....long story short......my ex wife bribed my daughter with horse riding to get her to miss my grandmothers funeral....needless to say I am angry. Good thing I channel that energy into possitive actions....and I am very good at forgiveness.....thanks for listening.

Ugh, so sorry, Ready2Change. You would think the game-playing would end at some point, but apparently not. I'm sorry for the loss of your grandmother and sorry that your daughter's mom would feel compelled to manipulate that way. It's just cruel. Still, good going, though: positive thinking and forgiveness are much better (for YOU) than any other response, however justified.
You know, we embrace forgiveness, grace, honor, the fact that people make their own choices in life and you only control what you can for your own happiness.
Then something like that happens and you can throw a lot of that good stuff out the window.
Sorry to hear that R2C ...

The D put the parenting responsibilities closer to where they belong. My kids grandparents still enable irresponsibility. As I identify where this happens and I can set healthy boundaries.
