I'm not thinking too much! Haven't heard a peep. I am taking OP's advice to let him come to me. I do not expect to allow him home for awhile. I have seen his OW Withdrawal before and it isn't fun. I just pray he is successful.

It is more likely to be slow (or non-existent) if he did the leaving b/c she pursues him heavily. The first time he returned after 3 months. 2 weeks into his return she was guilting him terribly..."I can't get out of bed. I'm gonna die". When, in truth, she was out partying with friends at night, hiking and other activities with friends during the day. She contacted him constantly when he was home, every 20 min or so. A real drama queen, H equated it to "love".

So, yes I'd love more scoop on what happened so I could be a bit more prepared, but no expectations!!!!

I have no idea what to do next or even what to prepare for.

unless she left him--then it might be easier. I guess you just sit tight for now!

Your quote from NewMama's post:

"For example, DD18 wants to move in w/ her boyfriend. I don't feel that is best for her right now. She is an unemployed college student. She says I can't stop her. No, I can't but I will not make it easy for her by continuing to pay for her car, gas, insurance, cell phone, internet access, clothes, food, and so on. She can't understand why I don't at least cover her car and phone! arggghhh"

As my father used to say, "My house, my rules. Your house, your bills!"

Fortunately, his rules weren't horrible, so I lived at home until I was married so I could spend all my money on clothes (although I did get grounded one time while I was engaged for missing my 1 am curfew, lol!)

Yup!! I am getting so much better at boundary setting!

Not a peep from H. He met us for pizza last night. It was a 'normal' family get together. Well, except for my mom. She is not aware H left at Christmas, so I was a bit hypervig on the convo amongst the kids. H seemed fine, kinda quiet, but joked with kids. I didn't initiate any convo w/ him. no tension, at least from me. H still sporting his affair goatee.

(Rolling eyes) Why do they do this? Do they think they look "cool" (circa 1870)?

Yeah, I don't get it...

Me either!

I'm guessing but it may be that it covers his aging skin, or OW likes it. He knows I hate it and that I think it ages him b/c it it is all gray and contrasts his brown hair. He shaved it the times he moved home. So it helps me determine his direction at a given time!

DD18 told me the kids refer to it as a prison pu**y. yuk.
