Sorry to hear about the kid BBJ! I know it makes us feel so helpless when our kids are sick and suffering and we have no support from the other parent. But kids are tough cookies and especially age 7+ they're stronger than we think. They could be down hard two or three days straight and the next day they're up and running again like nothing happened.
Agreed, if the fever persists bring him to the doc, it'll make you feel better too.
As for Dan...I think it's a common senario all around. They want the divorce, they get it and yet they're still angry at us. In some ways though it's satisfying to see they have trouble moving on without us. For me it would be worse if she left and never looked back...
