Sometimes the clarity that comes after I vent my thoughts, is amazing.
What I realized after posting was, Dick is fighting D so hard because IF she does come back, (to him) it will mean that I was or have been right all along.....
Dick's rule #1 is: Dick is always right, no matter what!
If she comes back, it would mean that I just might not be the person/parent he has made me out to be....
That just won't do in Dick's world....
