K - I would wait on the talk. Wait and see what happens on his email after he gets home. It seems weird that he would erase ALL his work emails, why not just hers? Perhaps there is something funny going on with his email with him being gone. Either way, I would not tip him off that you know - keep this valuable source of information to yourself a little bit longer.

H arrived today. I went to meet him and he was very warm:hugged me, put his face in my neck, held me for minutes, said he missed me very much etc etc. He introduced to me to EVERYONE on that plane almost, an dthen suggested he stayed to have a coffee with me before taking the car to go home. We went for a coffee and he told me stories about the games, meeting Maradona, Mesi, etc etc, how the players all wanted to hug him before walking out on the field before the game with Argentina, funny stories, touching stories and we spend an hor together before he started feeling dizzy...
He is not working today (that is new) and he will pick me up later when I finish work.
My new Supervisor informed me of the delicate peace existing at my new dept because of a very ambitious woman there that sees all other women as enemies. He warned me to be ready to "handle her". I am not worried. K
