SO busy with Nathan (yep back to 102.7 again... frown ) forgot to mention a little Dan weirdness.

So he didn't know we were going to KC bc frankly I didn't know. Last I heard from him was Sunday night texting that he was keeping kids bc they had fallen asleep on the way home from Toy Story 3. He stressed leaving at 4:30 a.m. for flight to Canada.

At 11:00 he sends a message. "Nathan's uniform is in the zipper on the side of his equipment bag." [He was supposed to have a game last night.] Then, "Hope Dad gave you his hat, or it is on the knob of the steps in my entryway."

I replied "Got everything thanks doubt there will be game with all the rain though." (Didn't tell him where we were going don't know why felt like we were playing hooky or something.)

Then 15 minutes later out of the blue. "There is some orange chicken and beef fried rice in my fridge." A minute later "It's yours if you want it." Then, "Kids and I didn't eat much and it will be bad by Wednesday when I get back."

Ummm....hello? Offering me leftovers? That would be great if we were buddies or roommates... I replied, "Thx for offer but I do not have key to your house."

A bit later we got to KC and I decided I should tell him bc his parents had called and left me a vm asking about the game and whether it was still going to be played. So I replied to them that Nathan wouldn't be there (they DID have a game, crap!). Anyway I knew kids would tell him anyway so I texted him we were at Great Wolf as I thought game would be rained out. I know I shouldn't give a sh!t yet I was braced for a rant about blowing off baseball. He pulled total 180 on me. Asked if I let the coach know not to expect him. I said yes. Then he replied back, "Ok have fun." WHo is this guy?

Then he texted again at nine "How is KC". I had kids call him. Nathan told him he had a fever so he asked to talk to me, asked me what was up what symptoms, etc.

So anyway just different. Sad that I expected him to be pissed, isn't it!?
