No time to deal with any of this yesterday. I had to take mom back to the ER yesterday afternoon when I picked her up from dialysis. She was doing so good and then suddenly lost all muscle strength and can't keep her eyes open for even 5 seconds to string together 2 coherent words. WTH? The doctors have NO CLUE what is happening.

It all comes in bunches, doesn't it? When my marriage was ending my dad was diagnosed with Cancer. It's tough to handle both fronts at once. I hope your mom recovers quickly, keep us posted. My prayers will be with both you and your mom.
I cant believe Gabe came back (what like an hour or two later?) and took your hand and CRIED and apologised and said he'd do all he could to make your R work. Who'd have thought it Mish??? Theres hope for many relationships that went the way yours did, as long as I guess you can be big enough to forgive, move on and get past it. You are doing so well. I'm so glad he deleted her from FB..the NEXT day! He's really showing you he is committed to your R. I hope we wont be hearing anymore "freinds with benefits" grumblings from you!

Today is father's day here in the US. The last couple of years it's been pretty sad for Marc but this year he asked if he could get his dad something special. I told him he could pick out something up to $60 (I had a little found money from a bonus I got from booking a specific car rental company at work) and he decided he'd like to get him a new MP3 player since he's started walking daily. I thought that was so thoughtful of Marc. He's not usually very good about thinking of appropriate gifts for someone. Heck, what male is? Most don't have that in their genes so I was extremely impressed with him!!!!
Oh yeah, another great thing happened this week that I forgot to mention here. Marc took his first cadet rank test for CAP and passed. He is now a "Cadet Airman". Basically like going from Private to Lance Corporal in Marine Corps rankings (since that's the only one I really know!). I'm one proud mama! Gabe was so excited for him that he took him to the Army/Navy store and got him new boots. He's been wearing Gabe's old combat boots and they were getting too small for him. Marc has outgrown Gabe's shoe size and looks like he's going to surpass his height pretty soon. UGH!
