Sometimes I struggle to find those PHs. I feel that it's good for me to dig deep sometimes. I refuse to feel sorry for myself or become bitter about this sitch. Life is too short to waste it with that.
I am trying to prepare myself for a H overload this week. Tuesday night D11 has a Moving Up ceremony. She will be moving from the elementary school to the high school. D17 is graduating on Friday night. H says he will be there on both occasions.
At least if I break down from having my whole family together again it can be blamed on the sentimentality of those evenings. Everyone already knows I cry at those things.
My PH for the day: A little boy in our classroom was not in school today. Found out that he and his family had to move. When the school counselor went to check on the situation, he told her to tell the teacher and I that we were the best teachers he ever had. Even though I felt bad that I didn't get to say goodbye to him, it warmed my heart to hear how he felt.
I find that I do ok with PH's when everything is going ok but throw in something I don't know how to do that would normally be H's job and it all goes to heck!
I am sure you will do fine with seeing your H...you have so much good advice and kind words for everyone on here! You will handle it!!!
A few tears are ok...just don't totally break down!
BTW, saw Toy Story 3 and I about broke down when Andy's Mom was looking around his room after he packed for college and then again when Andy was giving his toys away....geez...
