Sorry I did not read your post yesterday. So how did it go with him? I would have advised to you to just be positive, keep it light and not overdue the sentimental stuff too much. Something along the lines of wishing him a Happy Father's Day and telling him that you hope he and the boys had a nice time in Minnesota. I know this is a day late and dollar short, but I do hope it went well for you.
