The word of the day is: Personal responsibility...ok 2 words of the day! LOL.

Well he is nothing if not consistent. I loved your reply and if he can't deal with his family himself then he can just take his toys and go elsewhere. I thought the same thing about the "be my friend or else" thing. Yikes, creepy much? Good for you blocking him, just makes things easier for you.

Just wanted to stop in. Sounds like otherwise things are going well, what with the hammers and knives. Good times, goooood times.

Hey Sugar!!!! Missed ya my dear! So good to hear from you!

Yeah, I have a feeling he is steaming for several reasons - because I didn't go along with what he wanted and because I am still refusing to be friends with him and not allowing him an ending that makes him feel like less of an a$$ lol.

His problem though. smile

I spent Friday working my butt off. Got the concrete broken up, dug up the broken sprinkler line - the dumba$$es had "capped" it by putting a chunk of wood wrapped in waterproof tape into the PVC pipe! *headdesk* Need to get a sprinkler head put on there and seed some grass since I'm not pouring replacement concrete LOL.

Also started painting the spare room. It has chair rails (except they are too high to really be called that). So I'm painting below them this pretty green. Can't seem to pull the color up online, but it's Olympic paint, Laurel Wreath.

Then went to Target yesterday and bought a little pool. 10 ft by 6 ft and 2 feet deep. Just a blow-up one big enough to lounge in with a beer when it's over 100. grin Might have to set it up today, it's supposed to hit 90s the next few days.

Sounds like a good plan with the pool.

Tell me you have central air!! I can't imagine living up there without it. frown

What idiots those people were! All this time since they poured it they have been wasting water? SICK PEOPLE! Did your brother come and break it up for you or were you playing "warrior princess"? LOL

Yes. Pretty much every place built after the 50s does. I'm cheap though, so I only set it to 78 lol. The insulation is pretty good though, so I don't have to turn it on unless it's going to break 90 outside. If it's cooler than that it'll never get over 80 inside. I also have a ceiling fan in the living room. Want to put one in the master bedroom too.

I am also looking to plant a couple trees and get a little more shade going.

My brother did help. He wielded the sledgehammer, I had the pickax and shovel. We got it done in less than 2 hours, then moved inside. Luckily it only got up to like 85 that day. He then helped me finish painting the kitchen (I decided to keep going with the orange ("October Bronze") and paint the second wall. smile Then we kicked back and had some chips and guacamole, cheese and crackers, fruit, and iced tea and watched some movies.

It's gonna take me about 2 weeks to get rid of the concrete though LOL. My trash can weighs like 150 lbs right now! I put some in my neighbor's bin, but even so I'll have to wait til after pick-up tomorrow AM then fill it up again. LOL

LOL! I hope your garbage trucks have those nifty arms on them and the poor guy doesn't have to actually lift it and dump it. smile

Yes they do!!! Thank goodness! But even those have a weight limit on them. I can't remember what they told me though! I've got my fingers crossed that the weight limit is like 200 or 250 lbs LOL.

Not like I can move that though! That thing was as easy to drag out to the curb as a dead body (I promise I did not put XH is the garbage LOL). But hopefully since I could move it, the truck can lift it LOL.
