Thanks, G.
I'll see what Puppy has, too.

Are you presuming she will balk at this response and come back with more garbage?

Yeah, but I don't think you want to get in a sh!t throwing fight, right? Just be the Man you are, say you've changed your mind and will call MIL to explain, as well. It's the polite thing to do. But you will not be persuaded differently.

Especially by text.
Her mindset is probably pretty fragile and if she's ever gonna ger BGP's, she's gonna have to deal with reality and facts.

Like how divorce will not fix her unhappiness
How divorce will forever alter her daughter
How a marriage is easier to fix than throw away.

She would just say "that's different" anyways... you can give her the line i wrote, and it is good but its your call.. I would do it and then tell her your decision is final and hang up

Note-
Since I haven't responded, she just changed her BBery profile (which she knows I can see; and everyone else on her contact list) to DOUCHE.

Funny. How is the temper tantrum?

How mature. My teenage son uses that word constantly.

Objectives:
0 Bust the affair
0 Save the marriage
0 Protect yourself and your daughter

Don't let anyone drag you into the mud.

Good call Greek...

Just tell her NO and exit the conversation... she's an addict.. And she WANTS a fight.. this is all bait for conflict to soften her guilt... exit asap but stand your ground

"As long as you are engaged in infidelity I am afraid I cannot pay any consideration to your moral lectures...

When this affair is over I would be happy to entertain a discussion.. Until such time I don't think you are in a position to lecture me about good conduct...

It's fathers day.. Leave me and my daughter alone..."

End convo

Yeah. As i said, I currently have two kids; 2 and 19.

I'm going to send the "I can and I have. I'll call your mom right now with apologies. i am spending today with my daughter"

Next items up will be getting her to talk face to face in order to do the three objectives.
Issues-
It is supposed to be W's week as primary care for Calla. Obviuosly, I don't want my daughter dragged all over the place in order for W to have her "man-hating, b#tch sessions"
How do I approach that and force her "to the table?"

Obviously, I'm gonna have to get legal counsel in the morning.

My ears are wide open and waiting for my experts.
