Number 8. I think i understand how you feel about the family vacation. Wife and I went to a wedding together last weekend (her family) and I kept imagining how life will go out without me. Not only do I lose my wife but I also lose an entire family. Is this what you are feeling?
Yes, you've described very well what I was earlier unable to articulate. It's so painful for me to think about their being together and enjoying a family vacation while I'm home by myself. I do feel like I've lost them on top of losing him. I am fortunate to have my small immediate family, but I feel like it's even more devastating to lose H and his family after losing my mother a few years ago.
I'm sorry that you've had this feeling, too. It's miserable, is it not?
