DG, My WH filed the day after he found out I had given his deceased Mom's engagement ring, which he had given ME, to his son to hold for his Granddaughter. He acted like I had put it on Ebay. Don't give up, yet. It may be just his way of 'showing you'. You can contest a divorce and hold it up for a reasonable time. That's what I'm doing, and he has to pay the household bills in the meantime.
