Wii... This is a somewhat belated post, but...

You aren't allowed to date until you have cards printed up to be presented to the datee on first meeting:

"Hi, I'm Wii. Please be advised that although I have been separated for years, I have made no effort to pursue a divorce nor do I plan too. Furthermore, many of the roles reserved for "significant other" are already filled by my wife, and I have no plans to change that either. But, I'd really love for you to amuse me for awhile."

... find a good life for yourself ...

... drop the role of well-adjusted, perfect STBX friend, role-model separated spouse above reproach, it isn't paying off...

Should the cards be embossed? First impressions can be very important. I don't wanna look cheap!

"Should the cards be embossed?"

I can't say. What is important is that they be authentic. Don't hide behind fancy embossing and gilded flourishes if they aren't you.

First -- what kind of paper? Utilitarian card stock from staples? Low environmental impact bamboo weave? Flat or glossy?

Then ink color, font style and size, etc...

What about a photo?

There is a lot to consider, but when it is finished, it should feel like it screams the inner Wii to you.

All these decisions are making my head hurt! Maybe we should go back to something simpler, like my life.
Now, OT I know you and others believe that I need to get the D in order to move on with my life. I can't dispute that because I don't know. You may be right. As far as having a life I think I do pretty good. I have a number of regular church groups I go to, I have friends, I started sketching and go out looking for things to sketch (I've been trying to find an art class that won't cost me and arm and a leg), I'm taking a correspondence course...I go places and do things I enjoy. I don't hang out with my wife except the odd family time. We don't call each other to chat or share our personal stuff. We see each other weekly to exchange child info and that's pretty much it. I don't long for her back in my life but underneath maybe there is stuff I'm just not seeing, who knows. As far as dating, that's not a priority for me right now and if it was maybe the D thing would be higher on my list. I'm trying to get m y strength back after battling this Adrenal Fatigue, which has been a struggle. I still have my good days and my bad ones in that regard. Anyway, those are my thoughts...hey, maybe I could make up a baseball card for myself, that would be different!

Do we get to have 'powers' or whatever, like those pokemon cards? If so I want my power to be sarcasm and/or sass... wink

I don't really know the specifics cause my kids have been banned from all pokemon-yugio-bakugan since birth. I sure as heck have to desire to figure out whether wind power beats fire or whatever, nor to be constantly finding cards around the house, in the car, etc.

But our own cards, what fun that would be!?
