I agree absolutely! Not long ago I was driving a co-worker home who mentioned how impressed she was that my ex and I get along so well. She's getting married soon and we talked a bit about divorce and I told her "it's one of the most horrible things that will ever happen to you and I hope you never have to go through it" It tears you apart and haunts you probably forever. I too hate the way our society sees it as ho hum, just another divorce. It is horrible, devastating and leaves huge scars. How can that be like getting your teeth cleaned (although I don't like getting that done either!). You just have to read the pain on this BB to know what the reality is. We can build new lives and be happy but I can't imagine it will ever be just a faint memory. Wow, am I Mr. Happy today!
