I have traveled a lot without H. The kids and I missed having him share the fun, but no eggshells to worry about! We love National Parks and monuments the best. Their Jr Ranger program is awesome!
I'll have to keep that in mind! Since WH took control of the finances and vetoed summer camp (along with just about ANYTHING that costs money - hence the reason I took over the checkbook early in our marriage), I need to come up with some fun, relatively inexpensive diversions over the summer. Been thinking of museums, beach days (we live near the coast), local parks, etc. I'll look into my state junior ranger program.
