Just had this thought--if WH brings up the D before S' birthday, I will reply
"Oh- you beat me to it! I was going to check in with you on where you were at in the completion of the paperwork. I'm feeling ready to date and want to get started this summer, but would feel better about if we at least started the paperwork! Now, don't worry, I will be looking for great guys only. I decided I do want to get married again because I want help raising S and well, I still believe in marriage.
So yeah, do you want some help with that paperwork?"
