No offense Miss, but I am glad this happened.

The status quo WASN'T what you really wanted, but it really seemed like you would be ok to settle for it.

Before it can get better with an MLC things usually have to get about as bad as they can possibly get.

Listen to Mach and the story of 3,000 miles. It is a very good point. You pull yourself along step by step, post by post mile by mile...and sometimes inch by inch.

Mach,
Yes, I understand about the length of time and you are right I was hoping I was further along. I wasn't expecting "welcome to Hollywood" but thought that I might at least be in Kansas or Nebraska by now.

In memory of Elizabeth Reed is disc 2 right after 22 minute version of Whipping Post (That one could be my theme song),

My favorite on Disc 3 is You Don't Love Me / Soul Serenade.

Everyone is welcome on my Patio, I will take some pics and post them on the alt. Another DBer, who does not post anymore ended up living about 3 miles away (small world). He usually comes by the house on Little Friday's, if you stop by there will be plenty of Corona's to go around.

Jack,
No the Status Quo is not what I want. Yes I thought things were getting better little by little. I can see some of the things I was saying or doing were getting in the way, which the fellow DBer who lives close to me pointed out.

And BTW, no offense taken but I am not sure what you mean by getting as bad as they possibly can. Do you mean my W has to go down further, I have to detatch more, we have to end up divorced before we can get better?

"If you be my Dixie Chicken I'll be your Tennessee Lamb..."

If she is in MLC then...

Traditionally in MLC...

They have to hit rock bottom.

If you want a visual.

The MLC is a twisted version of the adult and child into a monster.

That monster only breaks...when it hits rock bottom.

Rockbottom sucks for you...worse for them.

Kills the Monster.

Love this. Great visual. Easy and quick to recall.

This is going to prove useful.

TG,
Not sure on the backstory on Dixie Chicken, I will have to look that one up....

Can't believe you have the Gourds, they were in town back in October. My W and I love them and like to dance also. It was the last time I danced with her, they played Magnolia and we hit the floor, we were the only ones dancing but we did not care.

If you played the Gourds at your wedding then you had a fun wedding. Would have liked to have been there for that party.

It was a fun party ...

I have their Bolsa de Agua CD...I'll have to check out Magnolia.

There's a song called Jesus Christ with Signs Following...

the refrain is

"Hell bent for heaven now"

I like that.

kinda like our journey...
