Didn't hear from WH again; starting to get pissy about it! I don't know what I expect, but I feel like he should feel guilty enough to text me every day to ask if I'm okay!

Sorry your H isnt calling or texting... what could possibly be going through his head... Million dollar question! I find it hard to believe he doesnt think of you and the baby and the birth every hour of the day! What makes him think you are not in the hospital having the baby?!

Just wanted to share that I never had a single Braxton-Hicks with my pregnancy. On B-day, I woke to a bit of amniotic fluid trickling, so I was advised to go to the hospital. Upon arrival, they said I was 3 cm and 3 minutes apart on the contractions. CONTRACTIONS???? I didn't realize I was having contractions. All I felt was a bit of tightening, but it didn't hurt. At least not for about 5 hours. :-)
I share that so you will be aware of the tightening. If you notice a pattern, well....

Thanks, Silverado! I actually was hoping I'd be one of those people. Maybe I am, we'll see. . . maybe if I BELIEVE it, I will be, ha ha! I will watch the tightenings for some consistency/pattern for sure.

BD, yeah, everything's basically ready. I finished everything I wanted to finish at work today. The only other thing is I need to clean my apt really well. No, this is not the nesting urge. I feel this way just about every weekend. And I skipped this past weekend thinking that the nesting urge would make it happen on Monday. But it didn't!
WH, I don't know what he's thinking. But I do have to say that I was rather dismissive in my responses to his texts, so he probably thought he was being annoying. Which he was. But I felt like he should be overtexting anyway!
Oh, and I wanted to let y'all know that the minute i know I'm in labor, I'm popping on here to let you know! And posting on Facebook. And texting. Yes, my entire social circle will know it's happening.
Hi! Just checkin' in. You know what I think? WHO CARES about DBing when you are about to give birth! Seriously! The man should be texting you! There is nothing wrong with you texting him just to let him know how you are doing (except I get it if you are just standing your ground because HE SHOULD be texting!) Maybe if you just give him a little info, he will pick up texting-he might be giving you "space" right now. Just a thought! I don't mean to sound pushy.
So how are you spending your time these days leading up to birth- any more luxurious treatments? Indulging in ice cream? This is the time to do it- labor burns a lot of calories, you know! (lol!)

Yesterday was a big work-day; got to meet some SpEd kids for next year. . . going to meet more today! My mom gets in today or tomorrow, so that's happening too. Not much ice cream, but lots of cookies! Much less nutritional value.
