No, I see your point. I think you are missing mine. I get that the team represents a connection for you and GF. And I'm saying, since you LOVE to play, stay on the team. That is NOT the same thing as calling/texting/emailing her. Those are all intentional contacts that you go out of your way to make. Being on the team, playing the sport you love, is not an intentional contact b/c you are only there b/c you love the sport - not the GF.
