Lotus, I also was having second thoughts on whether my mom should be there for the birth. But then I decided that my son wasn't just about me- he was a new addition to our whole family and my mom's first grandchild! So I decided to let it happen (I think I was also nervous about her being in the same room as WH).
She was fantastic!! I feel relieved that I let her be there.

But Gatsby--unfortunately, some moms bring it on themselves if they are too "difficult" or whatever reason you have!
