Thank you SA - I know what you mean, all of my friends are married as well.
WH & D are back now. D rushed in all excited and started to show me pictures from the trip and what daddy had bought her...D said that they had good time. I was feeling some jealousy and anger with my H that he robbed me of that time that they had together, time that we would have spent before together...as a family.
He unloaded the car and actually put everything away, then he came to see me and asked "Do you want me to tell you about the trip?" I said "If you want to" and he replies "I will only if you want me to" ???? Obviously he wants to tell me so I said OK.
He was very animated and excited telling me what a great place it was what they did and on and on. He looked so happy and rested. I was only nodding and listening while keeping busy making myself some tea. I didn't encourage any more talk and he left.
That's all...I'm OK, telling myself that they went away without me before the bomb and I was happy for them, so I shouldn't feel upset now...staying detached.
