I grew up with alot of kids whose parents pushed them into select and travel teams and sure enough by high school 99% of them were "burnt out".
I've seen my share of this, too. Sadly, this kind of parental pressure is even more pervasive today.

Anyway, young boys love to love - yearn to love - what Daddy loves. You two will be playing catch and going to games in a few years' "blink of an eye," for sure.
