Hi Whatnow, I didn't see the post at 12:59 a.m. about yuor H's text...and I have to say that I thought when you said "R talk," you literally meant he said something like "I want to talk about us" or "what are we doing?" I am sorry that I misunderstood!!

So IMO by him saying "I miss you" he is testing the waters and testing to see if you are still hanging around for him. Doesn't this make sense? I really liked Seeing Red's reply about how to act if you were dating...like if he wanted to go out with you and you knew he was with another woman! I will need to remember that if I ever get the same vibe from WH.

OK now I realize this sounds mean, but when your H says "I miss you" you can reply with "Thanks!" or ignore it or "too bad. You are living with OW." (because that way you aren't giving him the pleasure of saying "I miss you too!" )

I just think that the whole playing hard ball, hard to get will make him continue to pursue you more and see that you are serious about him ending things with OW. He can also see that you haven't filed for D so you aren't closed to reconciliation.

Just food for thought! And thanks for your post on my thread- I found it very inspiring. I just freaked out this a.m. and had a panic attack but am calm now. PHEW!!!!

P.S. that comment about the Flowbee is hilarious!

He wrote that?

Excellent! You're closer than you think!

Don't acknowledge OW. He knows the deal. When she's gone, you're there. Make him miss you more by being cordial yet distant when you do see him.

It's only a matter of time, WhatNot. OW isn't holding his interest...

Any tips on plunging a toilet?

DS13 used too much paper. It is really gross....grosser than any diaper...or all of his combined!!!

I have even tried a wire hanger. Darn low-flow modern stupid flushers!!! Yuk Yuk Yuk!

Clogged gross toilet...a metaphor of my life!! For now, i closed the door and turned on the fan. It can wait.....

If you can (if there isn't too much water in it already) try pouring really hot water in it (not on the sides tho) and let it sit for a few minutes... then use the plunger...That used to work with me... Now when in doubt, I hold down the handle when flushing just in case.. LOL

Essential toilet unplugging items:

1. Plunger.
2. Plumbing Snake.

Both are available at your local hardware store/Lowes/Home Depot.

WN, Good job on Feng Shuiing the toilet. The toilet is one flow you definitely want to keep moving in the right direction! You go girl!

Seriously though it is great when what could have been a major job turns out to have a simple fix. I would not have thought of using hot water. Thanks for the tip DG!
