Yeah, I know I will prob get 2 x 4s for even letting my mind go there... but I need to be honest with myself. I still love him even though he does not deserve it.
I think you can love somebody without the attachment being there anymore and even let go and move on with your life. There's nothing wrong with that so long as you are living your own life and not putting it on hold to "keep a candle burning" for somebody who doesn't respect you.
