You have to look at it the same as when you only had one, another one didn't change things so much and the same with the third. The 4th did change things because while she was an easy baby she had a difficult toddlerhood.

I always try to let the kids know that someday, when I am not here you will have each other. To lean on, to laugh with and to cry with and that seems to have helped them get closer. The boys are close, the girls are close and both girls adore big brother number 2. He is their protector and biggest tormentor.

So I guess what I am trying to say is that they each help each other out and we are muddling through.
