When the kids were telling me how they felt, I told them that they wanted their Dad to know how they are feeling then they needed to talk to him...I think they are scared to...I suggested that they write him a letter if they were scared to talk...I told them they didn't have to say anything unless they wanted to.
S14 did call him today to remind him about summer school and must have asked what they did this weekend...S14 said "yeah, we did some stuff" lol!!! Didn't talk long of course...
NM...I like how you put this "when" your H comes out of it...the power of positive thinking...have to admit that sometimes I have my doubts...
My good friend from my hometown called me today. She noticed that I didn't put H's name on her son's graduation card. She knew about the first time back in 2001 so suspected the same thing again. We talked for quite awhile. Not sure she bought the whole MLC thing but did say that it was my life and that I knew what was best for me and the kids and if I wanted to wait and see what happens she would stand behind me! She told me that the kids would be ok since they have such a good Mom...aaahhh!!!
Her H did from a brain anueryism in 2004 and only started dating again about a year ago. Her H suffered from visible depression and sought help for it. He kinda went through the spending the money thing for awhile. But, she seems to be doing well!
