Yesterday I went shopping for groceries, messed with my hair and felt exhausted! Had to run and get my parents. they just got back from Italy and were telling me about all of their misadventures on the ride home!
It was almost 90 yesterday and I about died. I told you heat and I don't get along! LOL

I let it blow over but really hate that I got upset. Anyway I packed the 3 youngest off to Emporia( home of William Alan White) to go to the small zoo there. It is not the smallest in the state but really quaint. It has ponds and waterfalls throughout with lots of flowers. Just what I needed to calm my soul. As a side note S17 was working, I didn't leave him out.
Got caught in a strong storm coming home. Actually had to pull over to the side of the road for about 5 minutes. I should have waited a tad bit longer but can't look back now. A fairly nice way to end what started as a not so great day.

Sounds like a good day. Except for the window of course. S14 is your responsible one, isn't he? I went through a period where S16 was breaking stuff; a couple of lamps. Made him pay for half the last time (he was about 14 then too come to think of it), and told him he'd have to pay the whole repair or replacement the next time and he hasn't now for about 2 years.
Are you having a good holiday? I wish I had the kids, but did have them most of the weekend at least...
Yes, he is the responsible one but I have no illusions that he is still a kid. He wasn't even wrestling or anything but tossed a toy on to the girls bed that bounced up and broke the window! Nothing ordinary with this group.
It is starting to get a bit muggy from all the rain last night. All of my local friends are at ball tournaments with their kids. So I am hanging out with my kids and hoping for a calm day.

Kat, I was just thinking remember back a couple years ago. We never had calm days! Things have really gotten so much better and more peaceful, don't you think?
Isn't that the truth!! Who would have ever thought it could happen now? Yes things are much more peaceful, though the kids do a great job of keeping me busy.

This is too funny. I am friends with K's Mom on the alt. She isn't really great with it but we can usually carry on a conversation. She cracked me up yeaterday because I sent her a question privately and she answers on my wall!
Don't worry, not asking anything that would embarrass me too much but it is kind of cute. Yes, she did like me from before.
