The negativity is slowly changing but it's a lifelong problem that I'm dealing with. Getting there.
Ali, although I would like to look at this as a reconciliation, I don't know what Gabe really wants other than enjoying each other's company. I'm in no real hurry to find out though. My xh is back in my home, back in my bed, back being a parent to our son but I'm still having a hard time seeing it as he wants me back. We are comfortable with each other and it's so nice to fall asleep in his arms every night.
As I said, we'll see. All I know for sure is that I'm enjoying this returned version of the man I loved for half my life. With a lot of effort, there may be great results.
