Had a fab time in the last couple of days. Course I was being assessed as instructor on went well, I drank a lot of prosecco at the faculty dinner, and am covered in bruises from paintballing yesterday.
Spent the evening with the sMIL yesterday and asked her advice about the interference of the OW. She's a retired GP, so is well versed on this type of thing. Apparently the FIL's GP is head of the regional ethics committee or something like that and she reckons I won't have to do anything as he's going to find it incredibly suspicious that the OW has referred someone privately for a cardiology appt when she's a junior gastroenterologist, referred him with inaccurate information, not informed his own consultant or GP. Referrals to private care can come only from a patient's GP or hospital consultant. Nothing untoward will happen to the FIL medically, but he'll be paying for private care completely unneccesarily and the OW is sticking her oar in where it's not really needed. The sMIL told him these things apparently!
The OW passed on a load of research articles for FIL to read apparently - ridiculous as he barely bothers to read a newspaper never mind a highly complex medical journal lol! She's also written the referral letter with her own gastro consultant's name on it, and written it as though she's actually seen and examined the FIL, when apparently they haven't met. sMIL is going to try and find out if OW has actually sent the referral letter, and if she has I'll be sending copies of it anonymously to her own consultant, the FIL GP and to the FIL cardiologist. Then she'll be in some bother!
She's advised me to keep the email stating categorically that OW has been accessing medical records of people that she hasn't been directly involved in treating close to my chest. That part could actually give her a criminal record I believe........
Have been having a real hoot with the almost old flame. Haven't laughed so much in a long time. She's still flirting outrageously, and I'm flirting back. All going swimmingly!
Reality is that which, if you don't believe in it, doesn't go away.
