THIS is where Dan is clueless. He still wants to do Christmas morning together, birthday dinners together, etc etc. I told him that will all change when he is in a real R with someone bc the new gf will NOT think it is ok for me to be showing up for stuff like that...he said he wouldn't date anyone who wasn't ok with me being around as much as I wanted...yeah...good luck with that! crazy

That is something to think about though...it is good that FFG is starting to draw some lines but as you know, since she is mom to his kids she will never be totally 'out of the picture' and you may have to learn to put up with some of her 'drama'. I am sure she is jealous of you!

My D7 had her birthday party at her mom's "compound" last August. I would have liked to have had the birthday party at a neutral place and XW understood, but D7 really wanted to have it at her mom's place. I had no desire to spend any time at their place. I have been shown the kids rooms but that was uncomfortable for me to go into their place.

FFG's XW sounds like a real prize. How many XH's does she have?
