Not sure which way to go anymore

DS was crying on Friday morning, he said Daddy made him sad. I asked how Daddy did that and DS said, "He told me that I don't love him and don't want to spend time with him anymore." I cuddled DS and said that Daddy didn't mean it, he is all confused right now. DS said he knows, but he wants to spend more time with me, I assured him that while I want to spend time with him, Daddy does too because Daddy misses him and loves him so very much. But sadly, not even that provoked my Mama Bear instinct. I didn't say a word about it to H.
