Not sure re the electronic copies ... I still read my books the old fashioned way LOL!
No apologies! It DOES hurt ... a lot ... but it gets better and it hurts less (and then it sucks again, and hurts more, and then it gets better and hurts less ... you get the picture ... the good news is the cycles get longer and the hurts are less intense ...)

You will learn as you go. Learn from your mistakes and try not to repeat them.
Remember, most things that you will be told will work are counter intuitive. It doesn't seem like they should, but trust the vets and everyone else's posts here. When we get the courage to do some of these things and have the patience to wait it out and not expect an immediate positive response, that is when most sitch's turn around. Of course, all sitch's are different and not all can be saved. Your best chance is to listen and do the hard work even when it doesn't feel like the thing to do.
