Knowing him as I do, this is something that he might be "put off" by.


Actually, about an hour ago, H asked me, nicely this time, if I was feeling alright.
I mentioned that he had been prickly to be around today. (He's been tired and testy all weekend).

Anyhow, he apologized and said that he wasn't upset with me, just tired and in physical pain.
He hugged me close and and I made a little joke.

"Yea, you've been prickly - but at least you're not a prick.

Shiny... Word of the week.

Although he did not directly apologize for his earlier remark, I felt it in his touch.

Okay, now I can go back to being just tired.
