.... I've felt fairly put upon with dealing with everything I did when she was here (cats, bills, house, cars, chores, etc.), but now with GAL'ing and working on me, it is too much.
She wanted me to keep the house, the cats, and just walk away. I told her "Wife. uh uh." Time to help with the remnants of (whatever) our life was together. No more running away.
So we will see what happens.
I'm glad you're not settling just for what she offers, if you want something, make it known, no one is a mind reader and I really like seeing that you're voicing your opinion and telling her what she needs to do.
It's important.
So what things specifically do you want her to help with? Do you have a list set up? Do you have plans in place if she refuses to help with the things you're asking help with?
