Tal, Jeannine, They do have that selective memory syndrome when they come back. All of a sudden, NONE of what they've been telling us is true! This syndrome is magnified significatly though when in my case, he says all the usual stuff: I haven't been happy for a long time, I love you, but not in love with you, etc., comes back home, changes into somewhat of the man I married, says all the RIGHT things, and then goes back to the stranger or should I say STRANGE man that cohabits my husband's body? I'm beginning to think it's a true mental disorder instead of midlife! Rachael
