Even though there are so many positives occurring in my marriage, I still manage to quietly seek out signs of trouble.

I guess that I am (and may always be) on watch for that grizzly finger of fate to reach for the "resume" button.

No control to be had there.

What seems to have changed for me and that I CAN control, is how I choose to deal with those thorns in my psyche.

"Sit on it" and "Ride the crest" have become my mantra.
