thanks everyone! it was a huge shocker and ppl who are close to the sitch are so confused including IC. there was some "friendly" behavior too (to FIB...i wish! lol ). i'm not really thinking of it and just accepting it as it is.
going out of town this weekend to visit some family so looking forward to that.
doing SO much better emotionally this last week. i felt like i was doing the physical things but now the emotional piece is setting in. i think the detachment stuff is making sense now. i can be nice to H and just be me without feeling anxious about our sitch or freaking out that we are getting a D. it's kind of freeing.
You're right, detaching is a freeing feeling. It's a state of mind that is your choice. That's the good thing about it. If it starts to fade or lessen you can bring it back. Your choice!
