Shiney,

In NO way did your previous post give me "the creeps".
Actually, I found it quite interesting and knew that if anyone on this board could give me an interesting peek into the nature of Disassociation, it would be you.

So no apology is necessary.
In fact, I wish to thank you for addressing the topic.
It helped me, and it just may help someone else.

Good to know!

Sometimes I get carried away...as my last post to Cathy (Leftandnowhy) will testify!

Oh so true!

I've turned in my keys, packed necessities only and have started the long hike out.
I just hope this road I'm on isn't circular.

I am so HAPPY for you! Just don't forget your friends back here still in limbo land. Hmm..guess you can't be mayor now can you?

Big smile happening here.
I weighed in at 101lbs yesterday.
That's 3lbs in one week!

But the best news to date is - my H approached me a week ago and said that he thought it was time to put the Parkside property up for rent.
We will now be hauling the remainder of our belongings (mostly his and the equipment from our yet-to-be-used dental lab) over here and getting the place ready to rent out by January.
This will also help relieve some of our financial woes.

He is now preparing our garage in order to setup our dental lab right here.
We're talking long term here.
One doesn't invest that kind of time, effort and expense if they are planning to split any time soon.

It feels good knowing that all this is HIS decision - which he made freely and calmly.

Dare I feel hope?

Yeah Jeannine,

I think you should feel hope!!!!

And now we need a party for that weight mark!

So let us know when it is and we'll all come by to celebrate!

Pam,

"I think you should feel hope!!!!"

Thanks.
I think that I have cause to feel hope too.
I know that I must temper that hope with reasonable caution though, because my situation is far from perfect.
But then again, who has a perfect situation?

I see that you are finding some positives in your own life.
Good for you!

Although it has been scarey, I committed to pulling back from my H, allowing time to take it's course, and changing old habits in approaching those darkest fears surrounding my life.
This, I believe, is at the core of the slow but meaningful change in my present situation.

Stick close to the DB principles and I believe that you will see significant changes in your own situation - OVER TIME.

Yes, from my POV, it sounds like you are very safe to have hope.

Jeannine,
I don't want to go anywhere you might not, but what is the situation regarding OW? Is she out of the picture?

I started gaining back the weight too, but am also working out and lifting weights, hoping to get it back where I want it, not necessarily where IT wants to go! You sound great.
