So I finally got a decent bike ride in after a couple weeks of crappy weather and a busy schedule. I freakin LOVE cycling. I was slow as molasses and couldn't chase a young guy in front of me, but that is to be expected after a long layoff.
Our band that our first parade of the parade season yesterday. We had a couple new pipers I've been training since last year. They were quite shaky, but I think it will inspire them to practice harder and improve quicker. When we got to the end of the parade I looked over and there on the corner was MINDFULL, smiling from the curb. That was a pleasant sight.
She got to meet the boys and hang in the bars, where we did some barnstorming. She was a big hit. I can't wait to see what the fellas have to say about her. I'm sure it will good.
