OK, went to the big city with w friday afternoon. Checked into our swanky hotel (got a deal) and off for some appetizers before our broadway play. Enjoyed the show, then went to a nightclub for 1 or 4 nightcaps. Place was jumping and we enjoyed watching the young people think Ice Ice Baby was a new cool song. Went back to the hotel, and went to bed, I then said f it, I jumped on her, she said I guess you want some, I said hell yeah. And we went on with it, nice!
Next morning checking out she said thank you for getting her tea earlier and I said thanks for last night, she said well, maybe we can do that every anniversary. (God, I hope she was joking)
Went to breakfast, and went shopping for a while, got me some pants, got her some perfume.
She is still not herself, but she is going to start going to IC this week. Last Spring that helped tremendously. I have one today or tomorrow, Ill have to look it up, I know it is at 1pm.
Still trying to be the best Man, father and husband everyday.
she said well, maybe we can do that every anniversary.
She didn't say which anniversary. . . .
Yeah, isn't the sixth anniversary of the first time the two of you ever watched "Dr. Phil" together coming up, Burt? Oh, and the third anniversary of the time you picked up those eggs for her on the way home from work? ;o)
Good day yesterday, she is starting to joke around more with me which is a good thing. Watched a couple of our shows and went to bed.
S12 had a friend over and S9 was out, going to bed I could see the 12 year olds up to something. I asked wife about it and she said she didn't know but I could tell she was lying. I am against TP'ing (stick in the mud) but my wife encourages it. So I got it out of her and let it go. No big deal as it is more of a joke and me saying, I am not bailing them out of trouble you handle it...
Good day yesterday. Last night she asked for help writing a letter to a teacher of our son's school that is retiring. As I was writing she picked out a small bamboo stick from a floral arrangement on the table and playfully hit me in the head with it, then put it back. I picked it up and hit her back, then went back to writing. Definitely a good sign...
The bamboo is cute. But it doesn't come close to the post - show playtime on your "anniversary." You lucky dog.
