Thanks. It was difficult, but I was so relieved when it was done. I wasn't sure what she would say (she can be less than sympathetic at times), but it made me feel much better to talk to her.

I did ask her not to say anything to lunatic uncle about my situation. I don't want any of his friends (including parolee friend, among others) to think I'm fair game. She readily agreed to that. She's met them, after all.
