Another 80's style... pegging pants. I watched my college freshman roommate peg his jeans EVERY SINGLE MORNING. Man that got old.

Saw Bon Jovi on his first tour and twice on the New Jersey tour and yes, I will always associate him with ripped, acid-washed jeans!
BTW Fergie, saw you live in Madison. I miss Madison tremendously, lived there for 5 years and it is one awesome place! We may have crossed paths unknowingly as I did a LOT of road cycling when I was there.....
When I saw Bon Jovi on the "Runaway" tour, I crashed my camaro on the way to see it. He was the opener for Ratt so I almost missed it but got there in time...no joke...my Mullet was unharmed in the incident

I saw Slippery When Wet twice, New Jersey, and Keep the Faith. I never saw Ratt, but it is interesting you saw Bon Jovi open for Ratt, because the Keep the Faith tour had the Stephen Pearcy fronted band Arcade open. My how the tables turned. I was sitting there saying, "this sounds like Ratt"....
The Madison area has such excellent cycling routes and is so bike friendly. If you rode the Seminole Rd. route I'm sure we crossed paths. I'm the guy with the blonde hair, no helmet. I get a lot of "get a helmet" comments from other cyclists. They usually get my personal response of "the bird". It's funny... the Cat2's I meet up with have no problem.. it is always the Cat4s I get comments from.
It is a secret to most that I am a hair band aficionado but I still think that it was an awesome era in music. Grunge was OK but the shows were boring. I saw Tommy Lee play his drums upside down in the air in the 80's....now that was fun!
Madison is an incredible bike town to be sure, of course, the season is short though. I used to do the ride that started in the arboretum and went out seminole so we probably did. I used to wear my US Postal jersey on some of those rides and folks would razz me about it. They got the same "bird"!
Madison has such a killer restaurant scene too. I now live close to NYC area and you would think it would be good but Madison has it beat cold! I go to the Essen Haus every time I come back....

Double awesome. Then you need the t-shirt I've seen the kids sportin' on campus. (Mindfull, it comes in women's style for when you go into the field selling equipment)

You still might have a long way to go to top the guy I see in the full Mario Cipollini zebra kit like this. He tried to make friends with me one day since we were both riding Colnagos. Uh uh, not happening.
I don't bug other riders (unless harassing a challenger counts). I'm too busy concentrating on my own training (which has fallen off the map recently).
LOVE the Essen Haus. I always get the Wurst Teller plate and a liter of Spaten Lager or sometimes the Paulaner Salvator. The Come Back Inn next door has excellent blueberry pancakes on a Sunday morning.
