I'm just guessing, but the best way is probably to cast a wide net. Do lots of different stuff so you are meeting new people all the time.

That's just a theory. It hasn't actually worked for me. In the past, all of my serious relationships except for one were people I met through friends.

So far in the past year I've met one interesting woman through a friend. I met another at a bar, which kind of has become my hangout when I do go out. She is a TV reporter who recognized me. And this church singles group has someone who is very interesting.

I haven't actually worked up the courage to ask any of them out. I'm kind of hiding behind the fact I'm still married, although I doubt that would slow STBXW at all.

I've been paying for Match as well. I guess I won't give up on that until after the D. Right now, being separated hasn't helped me there.
