Too bad her family has not kept in contact since you used to be close. However, it's probably going to make things easier post-divorce. In my case my MIL still calls fairly often and inserts herself and her plans into my life--or at least tries to. At least you won't thave to deal with that! Still, in times like this we do find out who our friends are, don't we??
