Updates to my sitch: The stbxW and I have been emailing financial breakdowns of how to divide property/debt. I'm not sure how productive it is, since there is no way I'm just going to say "Sure W. Let's just do what you want." Mainly it gives me some numbers to run by a lawyer. I have a lawyer recommendation and I'll give him a call this week. I'm sure I'll have some homework to do. And I'll have some numbers to run by him. I also want to find out if there is any benefit to filing as joint petitioners, since we are the super cordial D couple.
Zero contact otherwise. It is not like I am actively DB'ing, it is just I don't care. One thing that torqued me off this week was I have received no contact from her family for over a month. No emails or calls asking how I'm doing. Nothing. And this is a family I was close to? meh.
I've been keeping super busy. Mentally I've been great. Physically the crappy weather kept me off the bike most of the week. I really need to get back on the bike. On the bright side, my BFF was sick all this week with the stomach flu. So he will be out of biking shape too. I won't get hammered by him too bad when I go back.
Friday was date night and was amazing, as always.
The band has it's first parade of the season on Sunday. It is usually a fun one. The weather is supposed to be great and I'm sure there will be some drinking involved. Plus my BFF lives in the town we are playing at, so I'll get to hang out with him.
