Hi Snodderly,

I'm not sure what they meant, I know one time they told me that since the account had been turned over to a collection agency they could not remove my name. So, I'm afraid they still have my name on it. I will not pay it, I can't afford it plus it states in the D contract that I'm not responsible for it. I'm going to wait 45 days from the date it was turned over to collections & get a credit report to see if it is on there, but you may be right, I may have to get my attorney involved.

I guess when all this happened, I should have sent this D contract to the timeshare people, but I didn't even think about it! I know when my ex came & got his stuff, he asked for the invoice & I gave it to him so I guess I just assumed he would take care of it. I wasn't thinking!

Thank you for your advice. I just really don't have the money to hire an attorney but I will if I have to. I sent them another email trying to get them to comfirm that I'm removed from the account. I guess their office is closed now so they haven't emailed me back.

I appreciate your advice so much!!!!
