Hi Piano, how long since you've seen or talked to your WH? I do think it would be a bit strange and uncomfortable to see him at a family gathering, because you would probably feel like you have to be polite and put on a smiley face regardless of how you felt. try not to read to much into what your SIL said... H should not only understand, but also not use this time to be the time to connect. you have every right to feel the way you do! and dont apologize for venting... that;s what we are here for.
Are you okay with not seeing him or speaking to him until after the baby is born?
