Hey it would have been ok if you were serious BA, that means more Gary for me. Now that is a guy I would not hesitate for a second to go on a date with...yummy!
So much to do but seriously I think I am just going to go to bed...so very tired, went to bed at midnight and got up at 5:30 for boot camp. Actually read somewhere that if you don't get 7 hours of sleep per night it hinders your ability to lose weight...
So think I will sign off for the night...
Oh btw Semper texted 8 times while I was working youth group at church tonight! I only replied to 2 because I was with the kids (we had a break between middle school and high school so I replied then and then after it was over)...he is super attractive. Fun for now...
However there were 2 guys who came down and worked with the Pastor and I tonight, they come every week from Omaha I guess. One was 28 and married, very nice guy. The other was a single guy but way too young for me, he was probably like 22. But he was so cute and nice and played the guitar and sang, he even wrote one of the songs he sang himself...hmm...I would like to find a guy like that my own age....to have a man who could play his guitar and sing to me? Sigh........
Oh, wait....chaps, by definition, are already @ssless.
Sweet! Love it... Although I still like to say @ssless just cause it's fun!
Seriously I had the best morning! My little Spanish-speaker showed up for kindergarten roundup. He knows ZERO English. So I translated everything the kindergarten teacher had to say while also explaining what we were doing, what the things in the classroom were--he's never been to preschool or day care so it's all new.
It was so much fun but he just left and after three hours in Spanish mode, my brain is tired! It's been awhile since I have had to use my Spanish for more than "Hello/Goodbye/Thank You" so I was searching for some words. Now I can only imagine how Julia must feel all day! I walked out of the room and the principal asked me a few questions and I had to literally stop and refocus to start speaking English again. I am sure it will get better with practice.
Speaking of losing weight...I got on the scale three weeks ago and almost had a heart attack. I was going to join weight watchers but that is too expensive and doesn't fit into my nice neat budget right now. So I remembered something that the SG told me, and that I have heard from others.
Smaller, more frequent meals.
I tried this, and let me tell you, it works. I am a snacker by nature, so I got a lot of low cal, healthier snacks. I still eat, but I find I dont eat as much. And I am not craving sweets as much. (I am a junk food junkie...)
Ten lbs. so far.
Im still standin better than I ever did looking like a true survivor feeling like a little kid Im still standin after all this time and Im picking up the pieces of my life without you on my mind..
Good job Lola! This bootcamp class stresses eating 5-6 times per day, but never more than the size of both of your fists at one meal...with the exception being raw veggies/salad which you can eat more of...
Ugh! Don't know what happened. In the past 40 minutes I have been overtaken by nausea, stomach pain, and headache. Wha???
I may have to go home...the good news is my p.m. Kindergarten kids are not here bc of kindergarten roundup and my afternoon third graders have an assembly today. So I actually have no kids to serve anyway...just office/paperwork...ugh.
Feeling better, think it was a blood sugar thing or a 'no caffeine all day' thing. I only had Chai tea yesterday morning then about 1/2 cup of coffee while driving .2 miles to work this morning, left the travel cup in the car! Grabbed a protein drink that I brought to school and leveled out...currently battling my craving for queso...
So Semper texted and we have a date but not until next week. He had mentioned when he asked me out that one of his classes may be rescheduled and apparently it is on Friday now. I already have plans for Saturday so he suggested next Tuesday. I told him I was busy Tuesday but free Weds so we are going out Wednesday.
OK time to go home and figure out my night. Gotta eat, mow if it isn't too wet, but I really think it is, and run like 7 miles. Woo Hoo!
Oh and those stabbing headache things are starting up again. Not bad like last August but little tiny ones kind of like the 'aftershocks' I was having with the bigs ones, but so far luckily without the major ones. I may have to give in and go back on Cymbalta...
